Enquire Deeper
See beyond the symptoms. Too often a fixation forms around the side effects that show up in life, health, relationships, etc.
My personal philosophy is to ‘enquire deeper’. Search for, identify and understand the thing that’s causing the symptom.
This idea is easy to grasp in the physical sense: A sore knee for example, can be a side effect of an unstable ankle joint, jammed hip or subluxation in the neck that’s throwing out gate pattern (walking). Instability somewhere in the body often presents somewhere else - the place of compensation. Fixation on the knee won’t resolve the issue long term.
Zoom out a little and apply the same idea to emotions, behaviours, thought forms and the outcomes in your life.
When dysfunction or drama presents, search for the cause. Use your symptom as a doorway to step through rather than a brick wall to bang your head against.
Get beyond the symptoms by seeing them as a reminder (a gift, even) to dive in deeper.
