Life Is Beautiful, But Man Is It Strange
Life is beautiful but man is it strange. We’re riding a wave, an endless succession of experiences, bringing us into our next phase of ‘the unknown’. This wave flows on a current of love and truth. It’s easy to forget that. It’s easy to forget our divinity and the greater order of all things. So often we find ourselves clinging to the shoreline of familiarity feeling afraid, lost, alone, clinging by our finger nails (well, this is at least true for me).
We need these periods of clinging. It enables us to feel the full power of truth. The current is taking us to where we need to be, and when we finally find that exhale of surrender in us, we let go and flow back into trust. Held by the loving forces of life.
But don’t forget, smooth seas never made a skilled sailor. And what’s more, an experienced sailor learns faster by connecting with fellow watermen. We learn from each other. We need each other.
Sharing the feelings and experiences of our personal storms, current or past, bridges the gap of separation. Every man has his own tempest to navigate at times. And sometimes that calls for all hands on deck. Alone we sink and together we sail.
There’s an art to sharing and there’s a skill in listening. The more of us accepting this and embarking on the learning journey, the better it is for you and all.
